YMP Live! Winter Wonders
Join members of our Young Musicians Programme as they showcase what they have been working on this term in a selection of celebratory concerts and performances with YMP Live! Winter Wonders.
Taking place across two days, enjoy free performances from the Making Tracks, Foundation Strings and Step Up Programmes, our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), and our youth ensembles: Folkestra, Jambone and Young Sinfonia.

? Construction works near Sage Gateshead
Site preparation works have now commenced on the NewcastleGateshead Quays development, to the east of Sage Gateshead. This means changes to the South Shore Road Car Park, pedestrian and car routes. Find out more.

Folkestra and CAT

The first in this series of concerts celebrating YMP, sees our youth folk ensemble, Folkestra, join forces with some of our CAT students for an evening to remember.

Young Sinfonia

Young Sinfonia bring a programme of Haydn, Beethoven, and Florence Price, led by Music Director Helen Harrison.
