Sage Gateshead and Access Music Production CIC have a new and exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-25 years.

  • Become immersed in a recording studio environment
  • Explore how different musicians work with technology to create music
  • Learn about different music software, microphones and studio equipment
  • Meet professional musicians and music producers
  • Identify your own style of production
  • Get hands on to create, write, record and produce your own music

All backgrounds, abilities and musical interests welcome, no prior experience or musical knowledge required.

Sessions will be delivered in 10 week blocks beginning in September 2022

Introductory sessions: Tuesdays 6pm – 8pm at Production Room Studio, The Business Works, Industry Road, NE6 5XB
September: 20 & 27
October: 4, 11 & 18
November: 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29

Intermediate sessions: Mondays 7pm – 9pm at Blank Studios, 210 Warwick Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE2 1BB
September: 19 & 26
October: 3, 10, 17 & 31
November: 7, 14, 21 &  28
