The Young Musicians Programme is for Everyone
We’re keen to encourage applicants from the widest range of backgrounds, making sure that everybody has the chance to study with us. We support access to music study and have specialist skills in working with children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. Financial support is available through grants and bursaries.
- Lots of students don’t have to pay any fees at all.
- In 2021-2022 YMP families received over £230,000 of bursaries.
- 75% of Centre for Advanced Training students received a bursary.
- Find out how we support children and young people to study music through our bursary programme or contact youngmusicians@sagegateshead.com
Support Young Musicians
Here at Sage Gateshead, we work hard to ensure that music making opportunities are available to everyone; whatever their background or personal circumstances.
If you love music as much as we do, and want to help us to make sure more children and young people can access our high quality training, make a donation. Every penny you give helps, and goes towards supporting our huge range of music making opportunities.
Thanks in advance for your support
