RNS doing what they do best – sparkling Mozart, a taste of something different from the astonishing Jessie Montgomery, plus our very own Philip Nelson as soloist in Françaix’s characterful concerto. A perfect programme for seasoned concertgoers and classical newbies alike. Our musicians are so excited to be playing for you again – please join us for this very special evening. This may not be the opening night we were expecting, but it will certainly be one we will all remember. Not to be missed!

For Covid safety reasons we will not have printed programmes available on the night. Please download and read the concert programme in advance, or print your own to bring with you. Download Programme.

If you would like more information about attending one of our concerts please see What to expect when you visit us and our FAQs.

Pre-concert performance

As well as the concert in Sage One, we will also be offering free chamber music on our Concourse before each show, performed by musicians from RNS. If you would like to come along please make sure you book a table, where you will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink while you listen.

Please note, there are a limited number of tables available, which must be booked at the same time as your ticket. For your safety, we will be running table service only – all of our usual café and bar areas will be closed.

Ticket Offer

A limited number of free tickets are available if you live in Gateshead and have never been to a concert before. Health & Social Care Workers can also benefit from free tickets on production of appropriate ID on the night.
