Come along to Absolute Beginners Ukulele Workshop and Donna will teach you the basics to start you on your ukulele journey!

In this fun and relaxed 90-minute workshop, we’ll cover ukulele layout, tuning and techniques such as strumming. No experience is needed and we’ll even loan you a ukulele if you don’t have one already!

Learning in a group is the best way to experience this instrument! With just a handful of chords and one or two strumming patterns, you can play thousands of songs – but we’ll do just a few of those in the workshop!!

We’ll also send you home with a booklet to help you and other online materials e.g. videos to accompany songs we’ll be learning on the day and useful information sheets.

After the workshop, if you want to continue to develop your ukulele playing – you can join Donna in her Beginners Ukulele Classes at Sage Gateshead and develop those basic skills you need to become an all-round ukulele player!
