THIS EVENT HAS PASSED

Did you know that Gateshead had it’s very own witch hundreds of years ago? Join us to find out who she was and what it might have been like to live in the 1600s all those years ago.

North East Wilds need your help to weave new spells and wishes into her witches skirt and you can make your own wand too.

Our musicians will be singing songs and playing music to celebrate everything magical, drop by to join in!

Don’t forget to join our parade at 3.30pm to show off your wonderful creations and make some noise parading the Gateshead witch around our festival stage.

This event is free and no ticket is required.

These family activities are suitable for young people aged 2-9. Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
