THIS EVENT HAS PASSED

Call into Sage Gateshead on Tuesday and Wednesday of February Half Term week and catch a FREE pop up performance in our café area by members of Royal Northern Sinfonia, Sage Gateshead’s resident professional orchestra.

Listen to some of our musicians’ favourite pieces, learn all about them, and make your own violin or boat at our craft stand.

Our first performance celebrates our spectacular string section, and on the second day you can enjoy Handel’s Water Music with great views of the Tyne!

Performances last approximately 20 minutes. Both performances are free and do not require a ticket. Our café will also be offering children’s meals for £1 with any adult meal purchased.
