After a fantastic film night celebrating David Bowie in June, we are back with Supersonic (2016, dir. Mat Whitecross). Produced by James Gay-Rees and Asif Kapadia – the Oscar winning team behind Amy and Senna – Supersonic is the phenomenal film revealing the true story behind Oasis, one of the world’s greatest ever rock ‘n’ roll bands, as told by Liam, Noel and those closest to them. Featuring incredible access and never-seen-before footage, the film revolves around the band’s meteoric rise to global success and a lifestyle of mayhem and excess, culminating in the legendary Knebworth concerts.

Told with wit, honesty and swagger” – Empire

We will have Spinning Superiority here for the evening selling Indie, Britpop and other great vinyl – £1 from every Oasis record sold will be donated to Sage Gateshead!

This is a charity event with all proceeds going towards our diverse programme of classes, workshops and support for emerging artists.

Sage Gateshead is a registered charity, number 1087445.
