Sage Gateshead Christmas Cracker Behind the Scenes Gallery

Sage Gateshead Christmas Cracker

Sage Gateshead is proud to present the one-off Christmas spectacular: Sage Gateshead Christmas Cracker. Free of charge, as a Christmas gift to you our wonderful audience and supporters, the performance features some of the North East’s most illustrious musicians and rising stars.

Local hero Sam Fender joins forces with Sage Gateshead’s own orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia and alt-pop musician Martha Hill is accompanied by young jazz pianist Paul Edis. We’ll have performances from award-winning Teeside folk trio The Young’uns, as well as nationally renowned Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir and our own Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Filmed in our iconic building, and presented by Northern legends Jess Gillam (BBC Young Musician, saxophonist) and Ross Millard (The Futureheads), expect plenty of festive fun and magical Christmas collaborations.

📺 Watch for free on our YouTube channel from 7.30pm on Friday 18 December.
