Cattle & Cane, Jess Gillam and the Royal Northern Sinfonia are the artists appearing in this “Gift” themed episode. It’s the most wonderful time of the year… or so we’re told, and that’s partly because it’s a time for giving and receiving gifts.
So on this podcast episode, we’ll hear from Cattle and Cane siblings Helen and Joe Hammill about the very special gift they received from their father; saxophone sensation Jess Gillam will tell us whether she thinks being a skilled musician is a gift, or something you can learn; and we’ll follow the Royal Northern Sinfonia as they give up their time to share their talents with Older People’s Assembly in Gateshead.
