Make Music: Adults

Fun, informal classes and groups suitable for players of varying abilities – including those who like a bit of a challenge. Daytime and evening classes to enjoy at Sage Gateshead or online at home. New members always welcome!

“For 1 hour 30 minutes, our only concern is to join together to make the music come alive; to listen, watch and harmonise, appreciating each other’s voices, correcting lapses of pitch and timing, sometimes frustrated, sometimes laughing, until it all comes together and we can really enjoy it”

Mary, Sounds Good To Me singer

Make Music: Young People

Our Foundation and Step Up programmes support children from ages 4 to 14 discover their voices and build confidence. For ages 10 and up there are classes, songwriting and music production sessions, ensembles and our Centre for Advanced Training to develop your playing and be part of incredible performances.

It’s the best investment I could make in my children’s futures, because the programme is such high quality, and they absolutely love it.
