Stagger Lee has been playing records at people for more than two decades – running successful club nights (first in London and now Newcastle), and playing festivals like Glastonbury, Supersonic and Electric Picnic. He’s had radio shows on a variety of stations, including Newcastle’s own Basic FM, and runs a couple of blogs as well as writing for NARC. Magazine.
Style-wise, these days his tastes embrace soul, rhythm & blues, reggae and ska, country and bluegrass, gospel, funk, sixties psych and garage, girl groups, swing and rockabilly, depending on the occasion.
Stagger has DJed on the Jumpin' Hot stage at Summer Tyne Americana more times than he can remember and it's always a highlight of his summer.
