About the artist
Double MOBO Award winner YolanDa Brown fuses reggae, jazz, and soul into a delicious musical blend. She’s toured with legends like The Temptations and Jools Holland, while collaborating with artists from Eurythmics to Stereophonics. YolanDa composes for Sesame Street and Netflix’s CocoMelon Lane.
Appointed an OBE for services to music and education, she chairs Youth Music and sits on arts councils nationwide. Beyond music she is a broadcaster working across TV and Radio, including her RTSNW award-winning series for CBeebies.
An entrepreneur as well, YolanDa launched the London Saxophone Festival and plans to launch her own music venue and restaurant Soul Mama in Autumn 2023. With so many accomplishments across the arts, education, and entertainment, YolanDa Brown motivates and uplifts through the power of music.
