Witch 'n' Monk: Unravelling The Mind
Acclaimed experimental duo Witch ‘n’ Monk present a world premiere of new work in an immersive, multisensory performance that celebrates the beauty of nature and will leave you with a fresh understanding of the world. Featuring live music, immersive staging and video art and even a ‘scent DJ’ this is a must experience performance.
This work is supported through the Cheltenham Jazz Festival Jerwood Jazz Encounters programme, co-commissioned by Sage Gateshead and supported by Jerwood Arts.
Jerwood Jazz Encounters Programme
The Jerwood Jazz Encounters programme supports jazz artists to develop and create new work in unusual spaces, outdoors or digitally, expand their practice and take creative risks. Over 18 months, the artists create and deliver a new project to be hosted by one of four partner organisations and receive a range of training and support. These works reach new and different audiences, allowing the artists to offer a different perspective on what they do.
