Monday to Wednesday: When we have a concert or gig, we’ll be open from two hours before the start of the show until after the show. When there is no performance, we’ll be closed.

Thursday to Sunday: We will be open from 9.30am (Thursday and Friday) and 8.45am (Saturday and Sunday), until after the show. If we don’t have a performance, we’ll close at 5pm.

Box Office

Wednesday: Phone lines only from 12noon to 5pm.

Thursday – Sunday: Our Box Office is open from 12noon – 5pm for both in person and phone sales.

Monday and Tuesday: Our Box Office will be closed unless we have a ticketed performance scheduled.

Promising to be one of THE gospel and funk shows of the year, a Staple Singers for the 21st century. Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir with Smoove with special guest John Turrell, a northern funk supergroup.

Featuring the sublime vocals of the Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir twinned with DJ set from Smoove playing the finest soul, funk and gospel backed by members of Smoove & Turrell and the maestro of soul himself Gateshead’s finest John Turrell.

The Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir are famous for their sold out 100% Soul shows. Their fans include Prince William and Sting whom they have performed for and alongside respectively.

Smoove and Turrell are regarded as the UK’s kings of northern funk. Their marriage with the queens of gospel is truly a match made in heaven. The combo’s version of “A little help from my friends” is one of the most soulful cuts you will ever hear.

Expect classic songs, original funky cuts and uplifting spiritual gospel set to the classiest house beats. Bringing this year’s Americana Festival to an earth shattering finale, these two bands come together to bring the funkiest, most soulful show known to man or woman.
