A series of 10 workshops designed exclusively for those who identify as women or non-binary aged 13-18 who would like to learn new musical styles and develop ideas. Workshops are open to singers and players of all musical styles and instruments. Sessions are weekly, all abilities welcome.
Thursdays 5pm – 7pm at Sage Gateshead, free.
Our first set took place between January and February 2019 and incorporated singing sessions that focused on popular and contemporary music genres – this led to the creation of a Contemporary Choir who continue to meet on a weekly basis.
Please note these workshops are for those who identify as women or non-binary only.
