Since the age of 19, Ruth Patterson has been building a name for herself on the UK and international music scene as the front-woman of alt-folk/rock band, Holy Moly & The Crackers.
2020 will see Ruth strike out on her own, with her emotive self-penned meditations on loss, empowerment and empathy, that comes from living and working with chronic illness. The songs have a fragile yet powerful lyricism and are offered up on a bed of lush piano and soaring strings and delivered with heart-breaking honesty.
She is a regular activist and speaker for the charity Attitude Is Everything, who help disabled fans and artists in the music industry, and is an Artist in Residence at Sage Gateshead.
Join Ruth for the launch of her solo project in this evening of performance along with a Q&A.
