About RNS Moves
RNS Moves is a unique inclusive ensemble, featuring musicians with and without disabilities. The ensemble was formed following workshops between Royal Northern Sinfonia and Candoco Dance Company, and they’ve been creating high-quality music together ever since.
RNS Moves member Clarence Adoo was a trumpet player for Royal Northern Sinfonia when a car accident left him paralysed from the neck down. He now continues to play music using his electronic Headspace instrument, including performances with RNS Moves. The creation of the ensemble allows musicians of different backgrounds to collaborate together in music-making at the highest level.
To find out more, read our interview with Clarence over on the Sage Gateshead blog.
