Due to the sudden recent passing of Les Mckeown, the performance by Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers, which was due to take place at Sage Gateshead on Thursday 2 December 2021 has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
We have fond memories Les’ performance here in 2019, and were really looking forward to welcoming him (and the Bay City Rollers) back to Sage Gateshead in December for what we are sure would be another sell out show to an audience dressed head-to-toe in tartan. He will be a big miss, and we share his fans’ sadness that it proved to be his final show with us. We would like to take this opportunity to offer his family and friends our most sincere condolences.
