Hannah Peel makes a triumphant return to Sage Two, playing her Mercury Prize Nominated album ‘Fir Wave’ in full. ‘Fir Wave’ mirrors the Earth’s ecological cycles through her signature blend of synthesisers, electronics, classical orchestral work and hand punched music boxes.

About the album

The album has a fascinating history, which kickstarted when Peel was given permission to reinterpret the original music of the celebrated 1972 KPM 1000 series: Electrosonic, the music of Delia Derbyshire and the Radiophonic Workshop.

Hannah Peel

Hannah Peel is a multi-talented Northern Irish artist, composer, producer and broadcaster.

Along with releasing solo material, she’s known for soundtracking for film and TV, presenting BBC Radio 3’s Night Tracks and collaborating with the Modfather himself, Paul Weller.

She also collaborated with Paraorchestra- the world’s only disabled and non-disabled integrated orchestra on the acclaimed album ‘The Unfolding’.

Francesca Ter-Berg

Francesca Ter-Berg, a boundary-pushing cellist, composer, and producer, fuses Yiddish tunes, jazz, and dub to craft her unique sound. Her debut EP, ‘In Eynem,’ resonated widely, and as half of Fran & Flora, her work earned critical acclaim.

She’s an artistic force in film and gaming music, collaborating with Imogen Heap, Riz Ahmed, and more. From Glastonbury to the EFG London Jazz Festival, her performances shine.

Supported by Arts Council England and others, she holds a Master’s from Goldsmiths University and has left her mark on the global music scene.
