English trio Leveret have developed a unique way of playing together, creating spontaneous arrangements by listening and responding to one another on stage rather than agreeing arrangements in advance. Leveret will introduce their way of working to folk degree student ensembles, demonstrating how they send musical signals to each other and use traditional tune structure as a starting point for improvised performance. They will invite the ensembles to try out the approach using a previous agreed tune and offer constructive feedback.
