Cancelled – Please bear with us during this unprecedented period. We will be in touch in due course about your tickets. Thank you for your patience and co-operation. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Jez Lowe celebrates 40 years as a performer with his twelfth annual Christmas show with his long-time band, The Bad Pennies.

This year he revives his successful Christmas Beach Party show, with a generous helping of seasonal songs, old and new. As ever, Jez will be accompanied by Kate Bramley on fiddle, Andy May on pipes and keyboards, and David De La Haye on bass, all of them familiar to Tyneside audiences in their own right, plus special guest, and Jez’s fellow Pitman Poet, Benny Graham, who’ll be making his own melodic and regional contribution to a varied and high-spirited show.

This year Jez has also got a new album to share with us, following on from his recent 5-CD retrospective collection of early recordings, and as ever, he’ll be dipping deep into his much-admired and much-covered repertoire for this year’s Christmas concert.
