The Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia are heading out for a series of FREE pop-up performances across Tyneside on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July.

They will be singing a mix of classical, pop, and folk favourites – from Britten to The Beatles via Byker Hill – and giving the premiere of a brand new piece written especially for them by Welsh composer Sarah Lianne LewisAll My Ships Are White was commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society as part of the RPS More! programme.

For the performances in Saltwell Park, Gateshead they will be collaborating with Gateshead Care Home Choir, run by Equal Arts, to perform three songs written by the choir with their leaders Nicky Rushton and Liz Corney.
