Corey Mwamba gathers some of the UK’s best improvisers for a night of adventurous music and spontaneous collaboration curated by BBC Radio 3’s Freeness and New Music Show. Vocalist Lauren Kinsella performs with the pianist and producer Dan Nicholls, there’s soaring energy from the sax-drums duo Run Logan Run, and experimental sounds from the turntablist Mariam Rezaei. Corey then invites new groupings to form, for short improvisations that capture the moment.
