Upcoming Sage Live 2020 Concerts to Be Live Streamed from Sage Gateshead

Sage Live 2020

As we are sure you will know, due to the latest government guidelines, which will begin on Thursday 5 November, we are no longer able to give performances in the hall in front of live audiences.

We are, however, pleased to announce that we will live stream the remainder of our Sage Live 2020 concert series from our Sage One stage.

Performances which will be live streamed include orchestra of Sage Gateshead, Royal Northern Sinfonia; RNS Moves, a Pay What You Decide concert with our inclusive ensemble of disabled and non-disabled musicians; Mercury Prize nominees Lanterns on the Lake; Sage Gateshead favourites The Futureheads performing a special acoustic show; and a rare show from British-Bahraini trumpet player Yazz Ahmed.

Existing ticket holders will be contacted directly on email or by our Box Office team and will be offered a full refund as well as the chance to buy a new ticket for live streamed concerts.

We’ve always known how much audiences and musicians value live music, and our recent experience of inviting them back to our building was a very positive one. Whilst not the same as coming to Sage Gateshead, we hope audiences will continue to enjoy these shows in live stream. We look forward to welcoming socially distanced audiences back to Sage Gateshead once these new current restrictions are lifted.

Live stream tickets are available from our website now.

Covid-19 presents Sage Gateshead with an urgent financial challenge. Find out more about our Crisis, Recovery and Resaissance fundraising campaign: https://sagegateshead.com/a-future-for-live-music-in-the-north-east/
