Sounds of Summer
Celebrate the return of live music and hear our orchestra and chorus on your doorstep this summer, in a series of short, free, pop-up performances across Gateshead, Newcastle, and Tyneside.
Running throughout July and August, each performance will last around 45 minutes but there’s no pressure to stay for the whole thing. Whether you bring a picnic and blanket for the duration or catch a few minutes of music as you walk past, you are welcome.
Programmes will include classical and traditional favourites you’ll know and love, as well as plenty to discover.
