‘Our season of six concerts begins with two of the greatest piano quintets and ends with a much-loved piano trio by Schumann, both played by young performers new to our series.  Two pinnacles of the 19th century string quartet repertoire, by Beethoven and Schubert, are featured alongside newer works by Edith Canat de Chizy, Sandor Veress and Helena Winkelman.  And we are delighted to present an evening of song by two rising stars of the vocal world.’  Newcastle Chamber Music Society
