Building

Monday to Wednesday: When we have a concert or gig, we’ll be open from two hours before the start of the show until after the show. When there is no performance, we’ll be closed.

Thursday to Sunday: We will be open from 9.30am (Thursday and Friday) and 8.45am (Saturday and Sunday), until after the show. If we don’t have a performance, we’ll close at 5pm.

Box Office

Wednesday – Sunday: Our Box Office is open 12noon – 5pm Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. On Wednesday, when the building is closed, Box Office will be phone only.

Monday and Tuesday: Our Box Office will be closed unless we have a ticketed performance scheduled. Opening times for these events may change, you can keep up to date here.

Sage Classics Autumn 2021: Booking and Travel

How to book

Bookings can be made via our website 24/7.
Phone: 0191 443 4661 (12noon – 5pm Tuesday to Saturday inclusive).
In person: booking in person is not currently available.


Subscribe and Save

Book all 5 Royal Northern Sinfonia events and get 10% off. Add 17 October recital and get 15% off.

We regret that no refunds can be given except when an event is cancelled. However, Ticketplan refund protection is available at £2 per ticket.

Please note that if you require postage, a fee of £1.50 will be applied.


Seating

In line with Government advice we are not operating socially distanced seating at these performances. Any changes to this and other safety information will be communicated to you prior to the performance.

Getting here

The nearest Metro station is Gateshead Interchange, and the Quaylink Bus drops off and picks up near our west entrance.


Free Metro Travel

Thanks to Nexus, you can travel on the Metro to and from Gateshead for free, 2 hours before
and after the concert. Simply present your concert ticket for inspection on the Metro.


Take A Coach

Catch a coach to the following concerts for just £8 return: 18 Sept, 22 Oct, 5 Nov.

Coaches run from:

Hexham via Chollerford, Wall, Acomb, Eastwood and Corbridge
Alnwick via Amble, Warkworth, Felton, Morpeth, Wideopen and Gosforth
Carlisle via Brampton

Car Parking

There is a car park at the rear of the building with lift access and priority spaces for blue badge holders. Charges apply.


North East First Timers

£5 tickets for any concert in this brochure if you live in the North East and haven’t been to a Royal Northern Sinfonia concert before. Four tickets per customer, not available online.


Bar 5 for 18-30s

If you are aged 18-30 our Bar 5 scheme entitles you to a ticket for just £5 plus a FREE bottle of beer or soft drink.


17 & Under and Unemployed (in receipt of benefit)

Tickets available for £5.


Groups come for less

10 or more tickets 5% off
25 or more tickets 10% off

Discounts subject to availability. Please bring relevant ID. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 and under come for free if sitting on a knee.
