The best way to enjoy classical music at Sage Gateshead is to subscribe.
Enjoy more great live music for less in our Sage Classics 2022/23 season with a package booking. Subscription benefits include:

We regret that no refunds can be given except when an event is cancelled. However, Ticketplan refund protection is available at £2 per ticket.
Please note that if you require postage, a fee of £1.50 will be applied.
North East First Timers
£5 tickets for any concert in the Sage Classics 2022/23 season if you live in the North East and haven’t been to a Royal Northern Sinfonia concert before.
Two tickets per customer, not available online, please call our Box Office to book this offer.
Seating
In line with Government advice we are not operating socially distanced seating at these performances. Any changes to this and other safety information will be communicated to you prior to the performance.

Getting here
The nearest Metro station is Gateshead Interchange, and the Quaylink Bus drops off and picks up near our west entrance.
Construction works near Sage Gateshead: Site preparation works have now commenced on the NewcastleGateshead Quays development, to the east of Sage Gateshead. This means changes to the South Shore Road Car Park, pedestrian and car routes. Find out more.
Take a Coach
Catch a coach to selected concerts for just £8 return. Coaches can be booked online (either by following the links below, or by adding to your concert ticket order) or via Box Office on 0191 443 4661. Please note that coach tickets are non refundable. Book now.
Free Metro Travel
Thanks to Nexus, you can travel on the Metro to and from Gateshead for free, 2 hours before and after the concert. Simply present your concert ticket for inspection on the Metro.
Car Parking
There is a car park at the rear of the building with lift access and priority spaces for blue badge holders. Charges apply. Please note Mill Road and South Shore Road car parks (operated by Gateshead Council) are currently closed.
Bar 5 – supported by Molson Coors for 18-30s
If you are aged 18-30 our Bar 5 scheme entitles you to a ticket for just £5 plus a FREE bottle of beer or soft drink. Please bring relevant ID when collecting your tickets.
This offer is only available on the day for visiting orchestras.
17 & Under and Unemployed (in receipt of benefit)
Tickets available for £5. Please bring relevant ID/proof of unemployment when collecting your tickets.

Groups come for less
10 or more tickets 5% off
25 or more tickets 10% off
Discounts subject to availability. Please bring relevant ID. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 and under come for free if sitting on a knee.
