The thing I most enjoy about being part of the orchestra is… Playing chamber music and working with amazing artists like Thomas Zehetmair and  Maria Włoszczowska.

In my life I am most proud of… My two lovely children.

When I’m not performing or rehearsing you can find me… In the garden or having a coffee.

The last book I read is… Borderlands by Anna Reid. It’s a very informative read about the history of Ukraine, up to and including the current war.

My favourite TV series to binge watch is… Lupin

My favourite place to visit in the North East is… Alnmouth and going to the sea. I grew up inland and only went to the seaside on holidays, so it feels amazing that it’s only a short drive away.

If I could suggest one piece of classical music that everyone should listen to it would be… The first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony as it really packs a punch and doesn’t waffle!
