Jules 'Pink Skies' | Live from Sage Gateshead
Hailing from a small rural town of South East London; rapper, singer-songwriter and spoken word artist Jules depicts her stories and experiences through lyrical rhymes and experimental melodies.
Proud of her Chinese ethnicity, Jules is ready to shake up the world of hip hop with her unique tone and style. Her debut EP ‘Take Care of Yourself‘ earned her radio support from Choice for Music UK, RTM.fm and CFMU (Canada), multiple semi finalist positions in songwriting competitions and festival slots at Camberwell Fair and Joy Ruckus Club 3.
‘Pink Skies’ was recorded live from Sage Gateshead as part of our 2021 Summer Studios – a free, week-long residency at Sage Gateshead during August for 20 musicians, producers, artists, rappers and singers of all genres to be able to create new work, develop their practice or prepare for a performance.
