Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte £10 Tickets Available for Under 30s
Young music fans are being encouraged to take up a £10 offer to see Mozart’s opera Così fan Tutte at Sage Gateshead this summer. The Marchus Trust has, for the second year, donated a grant which will allow under 30s to purchase a ticket for £10 rather than its standard price of £40. Only a limited number of these exclusive £10 tickets are available and so bookers need to be quick.
On 5 & 6 July, Nevill Holt Opera will come together with Royal Northern Sinfonia for performances of Mozart’s high energy tale of love, temptation and partner-swapping. The elegant art-deco staging for this year’s opera production at Sage Gateshead comes from director Adele Thomas and the lead cast includes Alexandra Lowe and Katie Coventry.
Thorben Dittes, Director of Royal Northern Sinfonia and Classical Programme at Sage Gateshead said: “We hope take up of these tickets will inspire further exploration of opera and build the next generation of fans. We are incredibly grateful for the support received from The Marchus Trust.”
Twitter’s @Joanne Anderson from last year said: “We had an absolutely amazing time. My son obviously enjoyed it as he asked our Amazon Alexa to play The Marriage of Figaro this morning rather than Big Shaq or Crazy Frog!! Thanks again.”
Tickets can be bought from Sage Gateshead’s Box Office on 0191 443 4661.
