Sage-Gateshead

Sage Gateshead is an international music centre with multiple auditoriums, all with world class acoustics. Our building also contains a 25 room Music Education Centre, bars, a restaurant, café, and public ‘town square’ concourse anyone can enjoy for free. We are for audiences, for artists, for the North and for the long-term. Everything we do is guided by our values: Creative, Diverse, Focused, Leading, Responsible.

The post-holder will work with the Artist Development Producer to run events, projects and commissions across a range of genres which develop the creative diversity of Sage Gateshead’s performance programme, and to deliver impactful, inclusive artist development projects. This will include the planning and delivery of projects such as Summer Studios, Artists in Residence and Foundry.

A primary focus for the team is building relationships with diverse artists, leading to performances and participation in artist development programmes, with a particular focus on disability and socio-economic diversity. Developing systems to support this work and remove barriers to participation is a key part of the role.

The Projects Co-ordinator will work with the Producer to assist in developing new programme content, alongside overseeing and delivering the artist development offer.
