Job Vacancy: Fun Palaces Ambassador
Sage Gateshead is an international music centre with two auditoriums and a rehearsal space all with world class acoustics, a 25 room Music Education Centre, bars, restaurant, café, shop and public space creating a ‘town square’ for anyone to enjoy for free. Sage Gateshead are delighted to be partnering with Fun Palaces and to host the Fun Palaces’ Ambassador. This is a positive relationship, which will support communities to realise change in their locale from the grassroots, raising aspiration and ambition through empowering individuals and supporting partnerships and profiling the value of cultural participation as an essential part of a healthy society. The Ambassador role is a great opportunity for a someone to play an early role in a growing campaign that has the potential to make a real difference to the people and places of Gateshead.
The Ambassador will work in Gateshead, creating and growing relationships with communities and organisations, building partnerships and supporting people to become local cultural leaders. Their main aim will be to celebrate the creativity and culture of all local people, and champion the value of cultural participation as an essential part of a healthy, happy and more cohesive society.
