Step Up Sinfonia

Step Up Sinfonia

We plan to resume Step Up Sinfonia in January 2021.

  • Age 10 – 16
  • Saturday 11.45am – 1.15pm
  • Termly Fee: £75
  • Bursaries are available
  • Recommended minimum playing level is Grade 4+

Led by Step Up programme leader Ben Lee, Step Up Sinfonia is an opportunity to experience classical orchestral playing as part of an ensemble. Step Up Sinfonia meet weekly and works towards regular performances at Sage Gateshead. This is a non-auditioned ensemble open to all orchestral instrument players, and members regularly progress to Young Sinfonia. We ask that members of the ensemble play at or above grade 4 level.

We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in joining part of our Young Musicians Programme. You can email [email protected]
