Musical Foundations
-
- Age 4 – 5
- Saturday 12.30 – 1.15pm
- Termly Fee: £70
- Bursaries are available
Your child’s musical journey starts here! Children of reception class age in school progress through a series of musical games, songs, rhymes and movement activities. Children acquire the musical skills which they will later draw on when they begin to learn to play an instrument. Each session lasts 45 minutes per week.
In the summer term the children are introduced to the violin, viola, cello and bass so that they can choose which instrument they would like to learn to play as part of Foundation Strings.
Fees & Bursaries
Our Young Musicians Programme is open to all children and young people, whatever their circumstances. We are keen to encourage applicants from the widest possible range of backgrounds and access a bursary where needed.
