Huge Congratulations to all the young people who have passed their Explore Arts Awards!
We had one of our biggest moderations to date with over 60 portfolios submitted by young people from Music Spark, In Harmony and CoMusica Alternative Provision programmes.
The wide range of music and arts activity in the portfolios was fantastic, demonstrating how young people can be supported to try new activities, learn new skills, develop their musicianship and reflect on their experiences.
We had examples of rap, classical, poetry, spoken word, street art, design, loop station music, sampling and dj-ing. There was research undertaken on a wide range of artists such as Dan Lish, Status Quo, Arianna Grande, Dove Cameron, Freddie Mercury, Abba and much more.
