Drawing Sound Project – Discover in a Day!
‘Drawing Sounds’ took place over four weeks at Sage Gateshead as part of the Great Exhibition of the North.
Schools in the region were given the opportunity to visit Sage Gateshead and watch Bridges, a brand new animated children’s film by Ed Carter, and then respond to this through creating their own sound drawing about the relationship between music and image.
Over 6000 children and young people have been able to take part in this opportunity as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering quality music provision and we were delighted to fund 483 young people to achieve an Arts Award Discover in a Day certificate.
