When is the concert?

When can I access the stream?

The stream page will go live one hour before the stated start time of the concert. We strongly recommend logging in and accessing the stream page as early as possible, which will allow time for troubleshooting. If you can see the images and hear sound, you’re good to go.

How long will the concert be?

Every concert is different, but details on timings will be posted on the event page shorty before the performance date.

What is a stream? Is it live?

Yes, all of our streams are live and can also be watched on demand for 48 hours.

How do I book a ticket?

  • Go to www.sagegateshead.com/seasons/livestreamed-concerts/
  • Select the concert you wish to see and click ‘Book Now’
  • Select your ticket choice. (It is only possible to purchase one stream ticket for each concert per account).
  • You will then need to either log in to an existing account or create a new one.
  • Enter your payment details.

We now have three ticketing options available: Single view, Pair of viewers and Family viewers.  Please note that you will not receive a physical ticket for the New Beginnings Live Stream concerts, but your ticket will be registered in your account on the website.

What time do live stream tickets go off sale?

Tickets are available to purchase online for 48 hours after the concert has started (unless otherwise stated). After this time it won’t be possible to purchase a pass.

Will I receive a ticket or a code?

No, you won’t receive a physical ticket or code. Once logged in to ‘My Account’, select ‘My Live Streams & Virtual Classes’ to see your purchases. This is also where you will need to go to watch the concert.

Can I watch the concert again?

Yes, at midnight the stream will be made available ‘On Demand’ to ticket holders for a further 48 hours. The on demand stream can be accessed the same way as the live stream – by logging into your account.

Will I get a refund if an event is cancelled?

In line with our Terms and Conditions, you will receive a refund, or will be offered the opportunity to transfer your ticket to the rescheduled date where appropriate.

Do I need a good internet connection?
Show More

We recommend using a stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps download speed. You can test your download speed hereUsing a wired connection, rather than Wi-Fi, will improve your internet stability.

How do I watch?

Once you have purchased a ticket, you can watch the New Beginnings concerts via your web browser on your mobile device, tablet, computer, directly on a Smart TV or cast to your Smart TV via a compatible device. You can only watch a stream on one device at any one time.

  • Open your web browser (we recommend using Google Chrome)
  • In the address bar, type sagegateshead.com
  • Click on ‘My Account’ on the top menu bar and sign in
  • Click on ‘My Live Streams & Virtual Classes’

At the time of the concert, or within the 48 hours thereafter, find your selected concert within your purchases and click ‘View Live Stream’.  You will then be taken to the live recording / on demand film of the concert.

How to watch directly on a smart TV

Via your Laptop/Desktop using an HDMI or DisplayPort Cable (Recommended method)

  • Connect your device to a TV by using either an HDMI or DisplayPort cable*, this will replicate the display on your TV. (You may need to change the ‘Source/Input’ via your TV remote).
  • In the address bar on your device, type sagegateshead.com
  • Click on ‘My Account’ on the top menu bar and sign in
  • Click on ‘My Live Streams & Virtual Classes’
  • At the time of the concert, or within the 48 hours thereafter, find your selected concert within your purchases and click ‘View Live Stream’. You will then be taken to the live recording / on demand film of the concert.

*HDMI ports are more common on Laptops and DisplayPort’s are more common on desktop machines. If you are using an Apple device, you may need to use an adapter.

TV Internet Browser

  • On your TV, select the internet browser
  • In the address bar, type sagegateshead.com

  • Click on ‘My Live Streams & Virtual Classes’
  • At the time of the concert, or within the 48 hours thereafter, find your selected concert within your purchases and click ‘View Live Stream’. You will then be taken to the live recording / on demand film of the concert.

As there are so many different variations of Smart TVs, we recommend contacting your TV company for specific customer support.

How to cast the stream via Chromecast or Airplay

  • Make sure that your TV is paired with your device and that the chromecast/airplay app is open.
  • On your mobile device, open the web browser Chrome
  • In the address bar, type sagegateshead.com
  • Click on ‘My Account’ on the top menu bar and sign in
  • Click on ‘My Live Streams & Virtual Classes’
  • At the time of the concert, or within the 48 hours thereafter, find your selected concert within your purchases and click ‘View Live Stream’. You will then be taken to the live recording / on demand film of the concert.
  • Click on the cast icon to start casting. If you can’t see the cast icon, please check that you are using chrome as your browser and that you are paired correctly to your TV.
  • Chromecast devices can also ‘Mirror the screen’ by selecting ‘Home’ on your mobile device, clicking on the TV that you want to cast to and then ‘cast my screen’ in the bottom left hand corner.
  • Alternatively, click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of chrome and select ‘Cast’ from the menu.

If you have a smart TV with a cast button, we strongly recommend that you set this up ahead of the concert time.

How to watch via Amazon Fire TV Stick
