The Metro (light rail system) has been rated as one of the country’s most efficient modes of transport and is an ideal way to get around, with regular trains to and from the airport, the coast and the nearby city of Sunderland as well as major local landmarks and attractions.
The Quaylink bus stops right outside Sage Gateshead and is a handy way to explore the Quayside and central area with this high frequency, low emission service.
