Simeon Walker

Simeon Walker Press Shot 1

Leeds-based pianist & composer Simeon Walker has quickly emerged as a leading light in the burgeoning Modern Classical scene, following the release of ‘Monoand ‘Winnow, his two albums to date.

With musical training & degrees from University of Leeds & Leeds Conservatoire, Simeon has performed & toured across the UK and Europe, including supporting S. Carey, Sebastian Plano & Loscil, whilst also appearing at Latitude, Timber Festival (UK), Q3Ambientfest (DE), FAN Festival (PT), with his music regularly broadcast on stations including BBC Radio 3 and KEXP. He also founded and curates Brudenell Piano Sessions; an intimate and varied concert series highlighting the diverse music being composed and performed on the piano.

In a busy, scrolling-fuelled world, Simeon’s calm, introspective piano-based instrumentals invite the listener to find stillness, beauty and meaning as much in the spaces between the notes as the notes themselves, as musical stories are woven with each tender, intimate performance.

A tender-hearted collection of thoughtfully composed pieces in slow bloom, wrapped in hushed intimacy” – Stationary Travels
