Kerrin is thrilled to be selected as one of The Glasshouse Artists in Residence for 2022-2023. They will be working with lyricist Rosie Bristow on a Requiem during the opportunity, which will be scored for choir, solo singers and an ensemble of instruments. The piece will be narrative-based and aims to feature puppetry, characterisation, stop motion animation and an accompanying printed comic, to tell a post-apocalyptic fantastical tale that is relevant for our times. The project seeks to make contemporary classical music accessible and visual, and offer an alternative interpretation of the traditional Requiem structure.
