Singers Wanted! Sing in Sage One for BBC Proms.

Singers aged 16-30 wanted to form Voices Of The Rivers’ Edge – a new choir whose first performance will be at Folk Connections: the North East’s first ever BBC Proms concert.

SURGE - a brand new commission by immersive studio, Megaverse

Sat 4 & Sun 5 June

On stage in Sage One, you’ll enter a multi-dimensional installation which uses immersive technology, electronic music, dance, and poetry to bring the spirit of the world’s most threatened resource to life.

SURGE is an immersive performance which brings to life our lost connection with water – a life-giving and destructive force.

Crisis, Recovery and Renaissance Fundraising Campaign

The Covid-19 crisis presents Sage Gateshead with an ongoing financial challenge. Through our 2020-23 Crisis, Recovery and Renaissance plan, we aim to serve communities and people in the North East and wider North for the long-term.

This ambitious plan means we must raise £3 million.
