Sage Gateshead Elite Wedding Show

Sage Gateshead will play host to the 21st anniversary Elite Wedding Show on Sunday (18 March) from 12pm to 3pm.

It is the largest, free wedding show in the region: held across three floors of the iconic venue, including Northern Rock Foundation Hall and outside.

Presented by long-established, independent wedding planner Dawn Marie, the popular show will include over 65 of the region’s most highly recommended wedding suppliers. They include bridal houses, designer menswear, photographers, videographers, jewellery experts and cake specialists.

Renowned for the interactive nature of the show, guests can enjoy mini hair trials, make-up demonstrations, live music, mobile horse-box bar (free Prosecco), tricks from a magician, fresh candy floss and popcorn, fresh crèpes and a donut wall. Attendees can have fun in the photo booth or try the interactive selfie mirror, have a go on the giant games including a 7ft ‘Operation’ table and BATAK reaction game, have a complimentary hand massage or have their photo taken with a lucky chimney sweep.

The show covers all areas of wedding planning: skincare and beauty specialists, DJ’s, florists, event dressers, stationers, illuminated giant letters, honeymoon experts, classic and modern cars, marquee company, mother-of-the-bride-and-groom outfitters, hats, bespoke fascinators, luxury venues, ring-bearing owls, white doves and free bridal magazines.

Sage Gateshead will be showcasing its Gin Trailer and have staff available to discuss wedding plans. Dawn Marie from Dawn Marie Wedding & Event Design will also be available to help with wedding preparations. Having worked in the wedding industry since 1995, Dawn Marie is the longest established, independent wedding planner in the region with 23 years experience and over 530 weddings successfully arranged.
