Gateshead transformed into Great White Way with Broadway hits performed by Royal Northern Sinfonia

The Great White Way meets Gateshead later this month as Royal Northern Sinfonia prepare for a celebration of all things Broadway.

Taking place on Saturday 10 March at 7.30pm in Sage One, RNS will be joined by guest vocalists for an evening of hit songs from hit musicals, including most-loved shows Chicago, West Side Story, The Sound of Music and South Pacific.

Leading the Best of Broadway concert is Michael England, who has conducted several West End productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Jerry Springer – The Opera and Monty Python’s Spamalot, with star vocalists Australian soprano Anna O’Byrne, highly-acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Jacqui Scott, musical theatre star Jon Robyns and West End Phantom Scott Davies bringing the music to life.

Adding to the atmosphere, Sage Gateshead’s Level 1 bar will be open after the concert with a 15% discount on all drinks. Make the most of your evening out and enjoy the bright lights and spectacular, panoramic view of Newcastle Quayside!
