Jim Lauderdale has covered plenty of bases in his three-decade career, including bluegrass, soul, R&B and rock, but his 2016 album This Changes Everything marked a return to classic country, playing tribute to Texas’ legendary dancehall scene.
He helped pave the way for the current Americana movement and has written songs and worked with some of the finest artists in traditional and modern music including George Strait, Elvis Costello, Buddy Miller, Lucinda Williams, John Oates, Solomon Burke, Lee Ann Womack, Mary Chapin Carpenter, the Dixie Chicks, Old Crow Medicine Show and many more.
In 2010 Jim was honoured with the SESAC Inspiration Award, he recently received the prestigious American Eagle Award from the National Music Council and in September 2016 received the Wagonmaster Lifetime Achievement Award at the 15th Annual American Honours & Awards.
Sam Outlaw is one of Los Angeles’ only modern country artists to earn international acclaim. Outlaw’s second album Tenderheart elaborates on his SoCal Country sound, a sun-bleached Baja-influenced twang that deftly points to country’s neo-traditionalists and LA’s legendary singer-songwriters.
Outlaw’s debut album Angeleno earned rave reviews and has just won Best International Album at the AMA-UK Awards. He also landed tours with Kacey Musgraves and Yoakam.
