The Magenta Singers are a group for people of any age who are living with acquired aphasia, run in association with the NETA Aphasia Support Centre.
This friendly, supportive group sing accompanied repertoire from a wide range of musical genres including pop, blues and folk, with the aim of developing skills and working towards performances. No experience necessary.
NETA is an independent charity for people with aphasia across the North East region.
This class will start and finish on a Monday during term time.
Autumn Term: 19 September – 31 November 2016
Half term: Monday 24 – Friday 28 October 2016
Spring Term: 16 January – 30 March 2017
Half term: Monday 20 – Friday 24 February 2017
Summer Term: 24 April – 6 July 2017

All terms are 10 weeks long and include a half term break, unless otherwise stated.
In our accessible building, we offer weekly singing groups for adults with additional needs as well as music therapy sessions.
