There are thousands of songs sitting in folk archives just waiting to be sung – but where do you start? Emily Portman will teach some of her favourite songs from the archives and discuss how to find your own hidden gems.

This workshop is suitable for singers of all abilities, no experience in folk music is necessary. Emily Portman is a singer, writer and concertina player hailed as ‘one of the new British folk scene’s most beguiling presences’ (Uncut).
