When the city meets the countryside all is not what it seems…what’s the news beyond the end of the road?
We have travelled across Northumberland, listening to local residents and collecting their stories and anecdotes to create this new site-specific musical exploring rural life.
There is a strange sound coming from the soil. Incomer Sula just cannot let it lie. Her sister Evie can’t seem to get anything right. Alec and Grace are arguing over the sudden arrival of Bobby and what IS Thomas hiding down at the old station?
Join our storytelling rabble as they weave their midsummer tale about the residents of their village PLACE, their loves, their losses and their deepest secrets through music and songs. Culminating in a ceilidh compered by Alistair Anderson.
