BBC Radio 3 Free Thinking Festival: Words And Music LIVE From St Mary's Church

St Mary's Heritage Centre, Gateshead

Live from this spectacularly converted Grade 1- listed church, join us for a sequence of music and readings reflecting the Festival’s theme The Speed of Life

Music includes Schubert, Satie and Bach performed by violinist Bradley Creswick and members of the Royal Northern Sinfonia; and Samuel West and Kim Gerard with readings including poems by Auden, Proust, Yeats and Shakespeare.
